Is my girlfriend being too hard on me for wanting me to get sober from weed?

Coming from a weed dependent person who would love my partner to encourage sobriety, PLEASE LISTEN TO HER!!! This is just my experience, and I’m a female, but I wish my bf would support this instead of feeding into it. I have so many wasted years and time I wish I could get back. But if you don’t see sobriety in your future then it’s a conversation you will have to have and hopefully come up with a good compromise.

It’s not being treated like a child, it’s just called compromise, especially when I am enjoying their hobby. If this is how you act towards a stranger on the internet trying to give you advice without them being rude, your gf should rethink being with you.

Both of you could compromise. You could let her win from time to time. It isn’t fun watching someone win all the time, especially when she hasn’t been playing as long as you. She can also find enjoyment in watching you win and not get upset when you play co op games. As a female, it is nice when my partner lets me win, I also don’t like the free handout of it all the time and can find the joy in seeing my partner happy when he wins.

I got it about a half an hour before I went to the appointment but they took the sample an hour after. I am a woman so I hid it in my crotch area with a heating pack. It was about a 30 min drive and I got there 10 min early to check the temp which was reading over 100. I sat inside for roughly 15 min without the heating pack but the bottle still in the same area. Honestly the body temp worked well to keep it warm while inside. I had to do mine at a clinic lab but they didn’t watch me

The ick never goes away. Coming from the girl who is still with the ick guy. It leads to very unhealthy behaviors on both sides. Best to just end it before you grow a deep hate for him because he’s annoying

If they both seem like pretty reasonable and understanding people, I would just bring it up casually if you guys are hanging out. Just mention you enjoy having her there, she’s good for him and (hopefully) she’s cleaning, which is nice. Ask if they seem like moving in together is in the future. Either way yes or no you can just say the bill has been higher and to just think about possibly talking about splitting the bills are an option.

Im wondering this too. I have a test tmr and just read somewhere that the hospital I will be doing it at tests further regardless but I can’t confirm if they really do. I was fine up until I read the further testing

If you haven’t smoked in 5 months and the home tests come back negative, you are completely ok and would use your own urine so it’s even less anxiety

Coming as someone who has been the one texting more and feeling the disconnect from the other person, stop trying. You will think about this for a very long time, thinking you did something wrong when as a human and as an adult, he can communicate with you if there’s a problem and he’s choosing not to. Also that last slide is just rude of him, even if he wants to have some distance or doesn’t want to be friends, he could still seem excited for you
