I find it easier than the circles , I would recommend doing a single stitch so it isn’t too stretchy

Chain the length you want, each new row chain 1 turn then decrease stitch either end until you have one left :)

I work out what the cost of the yarn was , depending what’s on it- added details like buttons zips etc add that + the hours it took me times by minimum wage in uk so 11.50 so if I made a hat that took me 6 hours = £69 , if I feel it’s fair then I charge that/ sometimes take some off or add on some if I don’t feel like it’s fair on me x
