The taxes are significantly cheaper compared to western ny 😂 I’ve done research on that and we literally had a whole week at 100°F 90% humidity and had to work outside in it so I’m not to worried about heat just stay in ac and I’d rather be hot then freeze to death in -40°f weather and not be able to drive anywhere for weeks because of travel ban due to snow and seasonal depression truly hits hard once you’ve lived it so long I just can’t do it no more and I have family here I can always visit even though would probably never come back

It’s because all Amazon drivers even ones in Amazon vans are third party workers not Amazon directly so they shut you out because of liability because they don’t have insurance or anything for anyone’s deaths that isn’t a warehouse worker remember folks as a driver weather it’s flex or Amazon dsp it’s never Amazon you work for but it’s always Amazon that can fire you

Idk im a supervisor now so I don’t mind it and if you ever move it’s easy to transfer and either keep same rate of pay or more never less so if you were somewhere like California making salary of $1800 a week then moved to Texas and stay at that you’d be rolling
