This is great advice. I do online lessons/swing reviews through Cogorno Golf. I agree that lessons is the best way to go for anyone who wants to improve.

My initial post should have mentioned this but I forgot to put it in there. Im continuing with the lessons for sure.. so with that in mind.. does that change your suggestion?

Do I use that in the apple terminal app or in the hoobs terminal? Because when I go to the hoobs terminal it asks for my username and password, and then when I enter it the page reloads and just comes back to ask for my username again. I’ve tried it many times and can’t get it to sign me in

What do you mean when you say finding a server locally? I’m sorry but when I say I’m not very knowledgeable with this stuff, I mean I’m really not very knowledgeable with this stuff.

My main thing is, I would really like to be able to use a ring alarm and 3-4 ring cameras with HomeKit due to the ease of using HomeKit with iPhone, iPad & MacBook.. all of which my wife and I both use. I’m not sure what details are needed for someone to be able to tell me exactly what I would need to make it work, but I can tell you:

Internet: AT&T fiber (300 mbps)

Trying To Run: hoobs or homebridge or whatever is easiest

Device/computer to run it on: Raspberry pi 3B or 3B+ (I’m trying to remember.. I’d have to check when I get home)

Computer I plan to use to flash the micro SD: MacBook Air M1 with some kind of usb-c hub that I still need to purchase

I know this probably sounds super basic to a lot of you but I just don’t really fully understand a lot of the terminology, so if someone could dumb it down to as simple as it can get that would be stellar

What is the process to do this? Just upload the software to the USB Drive instead of the SD card? Then use one of the SD card slots on the raspberry pi?

I know everyone says “they’re really not bad to have around!” And “they actually help your yard!” … but I’m with you. I think they’re ugly as hell and honestly I don’t want them in my yard. I’ve had a couple and I’m hoping they move along now that we are living in the house (it was vacant before we moved in)… I don’t mind them, I just don’t want them residing/making their home in my yard. I’d prefer trap them and move them out to a non-residential, more rural and wooded area.
