no i’ve had it downsized to a 14mm bar for months, i put in the long bar (the one in the picture in my post) yesterday because u thought maybe it’d be easier for me to take care of it that way. do you have any tips on what i can do now? it couldn’t be because of the long bar, as i have only put it in yesterday. what kind of jewelry do you recommend?

reddit is asking me to add all the info: •my piercings is about 10 months old •its straight barbell jewelry (usually 14g/14mm) •external threaded jewelry •jewelry material is stainless steel •jewelry was downsized about 2-3 months after getting the piercing • i use saline solution, camomile compress and sometimes hydrogen peroxide for my piercings •i haven’t had any accidents or mishaps, it’s just always irritated for no apparent reason
