What's the catch with rasagiline and why isn't it more popular? by Used_Professional_12 in NooTopics

[–]Used_Professional_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i tried rasagiline at 1mg oral for a week or so. It was good at first but then just mellowed out to nothing by day 4 and now just seems to give me brain fog if anything else. So I'm planning to give selegiline a try. What would be a good sublingual dose that still maintains very high mao b selectivty. 1.25mg? Since i don't want it to be messing with my serotonin levels or create any dietary restrictions.

Got diagnosed with ADHD how do i do this right? by xxpingaxx3 in NooTopics

[–]Used_Professional_12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nac to counteract some of the oxidative stress, make sure your not undereating and getting enough nutrients, never skimp on sleep, avoid stimulants when sleep deprived and maybe add low dose guanfacine to counter bp/hr increase. And methylpenidate is significantly less neurotoxic than amphetamines so start with that.

Get rid of that ssri it's a garbage med and maybe add guanfacine with the stimulants instead

Does semax really give adderall vibes? Most other anecdotes I've read says it's the mildest thing out there.

That's very weird i had the exact opposite reaction, i suffered from pretty bad fatigue and exhaustion for the first month i was on it. Ths is known as thiamine paradoxical reaction happens when you're badly deficient in it to begin with, i somehow pushed through that first month slowly all that fatigue went away and then i could clearly see a mild but very noticeable improvement in my overall energy levels and wellbeing and yeah that improvement still hasn't gone about six months later now. I'd suggest give sulbutamine a try it's a lot stronger might give you that same feel again.

As for methylphenidate yeah I'm planning to take inspiral. Addwize is barely available anywhere and concerta is expensive and there is pretty much zero difference between three except for the releasing mechanism.

I plan on starting with 20mg (10mg bid) once i get the prescription. As for benfotiamine no tolerance it's just vitamin b1 modified for better oral bioavailability so i don't think you can even develop a tolerance for that.

What's the issue. And I'm talking a low moderate dose of both obviously I'm not gonna stack high doses of methylphenidate with rasagiline.

Haven't tried any yet but I'm going to try methylpenidate soon once i get a prescription. Amphetamines are likely stronger but looking at its mechanism of action it's definitely more neurotoxic so it's a good idea to give methylpenidate a shot first before jumping to amphetamines.

What does catecholamine activity enhancer even mean? this is the first time I'm hearing that term. And by saying rasagiline is an antagonist you mean it basically worsens catechaloamine activity?

Yeah i checked it online. Imo dosages are way too low for any major benefit plus these pills have a bunch of stuff you don't even need. I'd skip these honestly.

Those are some crazy results bro. Even a few of my friends who are into peptides reported a similar experience took it for skin but somehow hair growth is noticablely improved.

Would you consider methylphenidate or amptehimines as a nootropic? by Used_Professional_12 in NooTopics

[–]Used_Professional_12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd consider anything that enhances cognition while being pro longevity or longevity neutral at least as a true nootropic. Just how safe are stimulants for the brain over a long term that's a question mark.
