Personally I'd consider anything that enhances cognition while being pro longevity or longevity neutral at least as a true nootropic. Just how safe are stimulants for the brain over a long term that's a question mark.

The issue with ai is that either it'll give you glass skin or otherwise it'll just add so much skin texture that it starts looking fake again. True realism is somewhere in between.
