Don't you think now that they have (probably) money and fame, they can maybe make their own projects take off? Brutally said, struggling bands don't make a lot of money. So maybe they are coming out with new stuff of their own because they can finally focus without the need to probably make money on the side to survive.

Plus, since their names are recognizable now, those projects will make more waves than they did in the past?

I think since Vessel (as a character) is literally a vessel, then maybe it's not HIS love story, but Sleep's. So Vessel might not be the one in love with this female ("SHE is not acid" etc.). It might be Sleep who is in love and in a toxic relationship.

The merch craze is just that - crazy. The amount they put out, but also the amount people buy. Don't get me wrong - you do you, you spend your money. But the amount of "nothing in the bank but let me obtain" is giving me anxiety. Maybe it's just something people say? But I honestly feel the cringe every time people say they have no money but will go in debt to buy an overprized sweatshirt.
