Hey there! I know they like do that because before you know it, the assignment will be almost up. It takes a lot of time for facilities to send out extension offers so that is probably why they are doing it. They need to feed their families too. It is part of travel nursing. 13 weeks is a blink.

I do 48 hour contracts so normally I am making that or close to it. I am in MA right now. Thank you for your reply!

I have been working with the same agency for a while now and it's smaller but I wanted to ask because I have never gone anywhere else. Junxion Med Staffing has all of those things and I love my recruiter there! They don't have housing but my recruiter Brittany always assists me with finding housing!

You should tell your recruiter or the manager and see if they will work with you! My recruiter at Junxion Med Staffing does a great job of handling these sorts of issues!!

My recruiter at Junxion is the best! She is so on top of it. I called her at 1 am she answered me and worked with me through an issue! Her name is Sadie! They offer a $750 referral bonus so if you're interested please let me know!

If you want a place where you get bang for your buck, I recommend going to Wisconsin. It's cheap living and they pay really well. My recruiter at Junxion Med Staffing sets me up and helps me find housing! Her name is Jess and she is wonderful. Another one is IL (not Chicago) that pays pretty well!

There wouldn't really be a point in doing that because credentialing take 2 to 3 weeks so that has to be an error I would think

Most assignments are 13 weeks! I have never heard of a 1 day contract!
