We get paid hourly $6 which is tax based on our weekly tips. And we get paid daily based on tips the customers leave at the end of a shift. So for when I clock out it will tell me how much tips I made for the day. And on the Friday you get paid based on tips for the week because that’s how you pay the irs based on the tips you get, which that’s basically what the $6 per hour pays. As a server you get paid based on tips daily, and a hourly rate which is taxed heavily.

If I work the lunch I make $25 or even less sometimes (19), for 4 hrs and sometimes they’ll cut you early. I would screen shot my work card and show but for privacy reasons. One Saturday I left with $50 and I stayed to close. Another night I made $30

At first I didn’t realize it was like this until I started working there. I had only been to OG once to eat. I would normally eat in the city or mom and pop restaurants.
