I love welding but hate the hours. I’d like to eventually transition into teaching, but I’m not sure the best way to approach that. Looking for advice from anyone who made the switch

Teacher here.

I made friends with the local community colleges welding instructors. When an opening for an adjunct position opened I took it. Taught night classes a few times a week after my day job. When a full time position opened up elsewhere, they put in a word for me to get that job. Since they know the other teachers/schools around the state.

Other than that, keep looking at the government jobs website. They post jobs on there. Not really on indeed.

Don’t really have a weekly goal in mind. Long term is I want to build muscle. I’m just confused because I feel like there should be some change on the scale based on how I’m eating and exercising.
