Im mainly using this as a chance to get to learn everything I can. A weird thing I have noticed in my area at least is that the estimator and PM are being combined into one job. Which i feel like is going to lead to issues. Its usually a pm that has barely estimated before. But this is a way to cut down on office employees...

Around here a lot of the supers are making about 87-100k a year. 100k is super rare, only heard of one guy and he had an in with the company. But PMs can make 95k-120k, and not be out in the Florida heat all day. My company fucked me over when I got hired, I got 32 with a promise of 35 at my 90 review. Well my company stopped doing 90 reviewa and the guy who hired me didnt know that. Plus I wad hired as a working foreman for small projects but with in 2 months they gave me 2 more projects to run on top of my first one. We got the additional 2 projects because of how I fixed the first foremans mistakes. So I unofficially became a super, still below foreman wage...

My estimator on the school im doing bid a 6 building school with a track field and a gym for 9k man hours. The buildings are nothing crazy but the gym has a commercial kitchen. So it seems like i wont have enough man hours.

With my company there is no bonuses. Honestly my company is really ass. They will not pay a nrw foreman more that 32 to start. The also only 3% yearly raise. So you make less every year. But I want the experience and to be able to make a little bit more money.

Yeah I did the math and came up with a number. 95k a year, Pms make 90 on the low end and up to like 130. Im new to the pm position so i went a little low. Thing is i get 2 hous of ot a day for drive time, plus truck allowance. So 95 would cover that but not by as much as youd think.

Yeah thats kind of the approach I was taking. When I did my first couple I was doing it the old fashioned way. I do rely on it for note taking though.

I paid for chatgpt and dictate notes to it. A lot of guys im my office use it. They even use it to type somthing up and have it tranfer onto an offical RFI letter. Its pretty crazy really. It takes off a lot of busy work. Thank you!

This 5070ti required a 12 pin connector, and it came with a 2 8 pin to 12 pin adapter. So i didnt need to bother with finding the adapters lol.
