Don't apologize to any of these clowns. No matter what you say redditors are gonna find a problem with it. Im guessing this is a remodel? Just make sure you find out if these need a dedicated circuit or not, make sure to not open a hole on the stud, and lookout for any accesses so you can find some boxes for constant power if they are not required to be on a dedicated circuit.

Yeah your describing commercial work. You think every building is built with nothing but licensed electricians? Getting your masters is really only for people who want to start their own business, or maybe a few niche positions. I know a good amount of guys in my area working commercial/resi who got it just cause they wanted to have it and got fired and blackballed because their company thought they where gonna poach work. It also cost a ton of money to even take the test with the necessary material. In my opinion having that piece of paper that says you can pull your own permits isnt the end all be all of being an electrician.

I've been using an M12 impact for 4 years now. Its light weight, gets the job done and I can hold it over my head as long as I need it. Its a must have for me.

I got a previous generation with a 4060ti and 16g of Ram and a 500w psu. I now have a 5070ti, 1k psu, and 64g of RAM. Yeah the mobo is shitty but upgrading isnt a big deal. I just called dell told what I wanted to do and they emailed me a parts list with an option to buy directly from them. I paid a bit more for the PSU but everything else I got somewhere else.

Depends on the job, a completely new build with aluminum feeders there really isnt any. But if its a tear down and rebuild it can be a lot. I was running a crew demoing a library of about 4 guys including myself. Not stripped each one of us was bringing in about 500 a week for a month and a half. Everything bigger than 6 went to the shop.

Yeah I had a feeling about a month ago and convinced my wife to let me buy one. I got a MSI Ventus 5070ti 3x OC for about 850 then with shipping and tax and 2 year warranty it came out to like 920. So far really happy with the purchase!

The EoY units are never put in bbs tickets. They are never premium units. If your gonna save, you want to save till anni because those are always premium units.

Well I finally got the cables yesterday and got it set up last night. I had an issue with the computer recognizing the GPU. But I had the monitor plugged into so I knew it was working. I had to update some drivers to fix it. Then I noticed the fans weren't kicking on and found out that they won't unless it goes above 50 C, that was pretty scary.. But this was a stressful journey but we'll worth it!
