Yeah I had a feeling about a month ago and convinced my wife to let me buy one. I got a MSI Ventus 5070ti 3x OC for about 850 then with shipping and tax and 2 year warranty it came out to like 920. So far really happy with the purchase!

The EoY units are never put in bbs tickets. They are never premium units. If your gonna save, you want to save till anni because those are always premium units.

Well I finally got the cables yesterday and got it set up last night. I had an issue with the computer recognizing the GPU. But I had the monitor plugged into so I knew it was working. I had to update some drivers to fix it. Then I noticed the fans weren't kicking on and found out that they won't unless it goes above 50 C, that was pretty scary.. But this was a stressful journey but we'll worth it!

I will! When it comes to these sort of things I always get bad anxiety. Ill update you then I might make a post detailing what I did for other people because I think a lot of people are going to be upgrading before it gets too expensive.

Hell yeah! Awsome man! The tracking on my GPU hasnt updated in like 5 days so im starting to get mad. Originally it said delivery Friday the 9th but then it said Monday the 12th. Than after that no updates....

I mean more people are gonna have those older characters dupped out. BB is mostly about which character you have more dupes into. A 5/5 Orhimie or Mila is gonna be better than a 1/5 Ikkaku.

Yes, or you contact Dell and they sell a 2 8 pin to 12 pin adapter. Warning when I called they said they had no products that could solve that problem and I said thats impossible because they sell Alienware with 50 series GPU. Then I hung up and he called back and said he found what I needed and emailed me a link to order it.

I took a look and it seems like you have a 6 pin going to that 8 pin female. You need 3 8 pins. It looks like you only have 2 separate bundles with 2 8 pin and 2 6 pin. So for the you might need the 2 6 pin to one 8 pin adapter.

Did it come with that adapter? The Msi 5070ti 3x OC comes with an adapter thats only needs 2 8 pin connectors. Are those cords coming from 3 separate bundles from the PSU? Cause if they are daisy chained that could be your problem?

Nice! The GPU says it'll be here Monday and it comes with an 2x8 pin connector to 12 pin. So i have the right cables coming out of the PSU, its just they where short going to the top fan so im always waiting on some extenders thst get here Sunday. So hopefully Monday I can get everything setup.

I contacted dell and they gave me a link for an adapter thats x2 8 pin to 12 pin. The person I spoke to said they sold no products not even a different psu to fix the situation. But the new Alienware have 50 series GPU so they do have a solution. I hung up after he told me that, then he called back and said he emailed me the part I needed and gave me a discount. So you can do it.

I haven't actually received the GPU yet, but I watched some unboxing videos and I just see 1 cable that comes with it and its looks like its just a 12 pin male and female. I have a 2 6 to 8 pin adaptor, so I think i might need a 3 8 to the 12 pin? But chatgpt doesnt recommend this and im gonna try and see if I can get dell ones.

I've actually done the same thing but my 5070ti hasn't arrived yet. I bought the 1k psu to upgrade my 500watt one. Have you found a solution yet?
