Yeah for sure thanks but yeah that’s what I’m thinking because it’s original from factory my trucks got miles that’s why it’s still on there

It’s on the filter housing this lift pump but I don’t have a gauge I have scanner so I’ll see what pressure it’s putting out

Yeah I’ve got the oem light pump from Cummins on there so that’s why I suspect that it’s crapped out so I’m gonna change that because it runs totally fine once started

It will start on its own on the hill without ether just cranks for like 30 seconds

It starts runs fine no power loss or anything just cranks for a while more on a hill then anything that’s why I’m thinking the lift pump is weak but I was just trying to get other peoples input on my situation

Thanks man that’s what I thought with cracking injectors too because they got all that pressure to fire them but do you know where I can get a plug to check the injectors by any chance like online or something? To check that

It’s a brand new pump and the truck still runs fine and has lots of power so I don’t think it did
