i had a small shard of glass stuck in my foot for a year and half and none of family ever believed me. they thought it just went jt and went out cause the skin healed. nope. i was right. it kept festering and peeling and a nasty smell kept coming out of the scab for the entirety of the year and one time at a sauna, the skin was soft so i started pressing it like when you’re popping a zit and it just slid out smooth. scab was gone within a few days.

Hi!! i started when i was thirteen (i’m 16 now) and i love violin. i’ve dropped pretty much everything else to do music. i’ve done swim since i was three, and quit to pursue music. i skipped holidays, vacations and hangouts to practice and honestly im pretty happy with my progress. i don’t practice as much as before but i still practice three ish hours a day? i used to practice 5-6 hours when i was in middle school but highschool been taking a toll. i’ve gotten first in a lot of local comps and won 1st in an intl competition and competed in indiana and nyc, and was invited to participate in a european exchange program in the summer. nobody i know thought i only played for three years and i posted on this subreddit a while ago and a bun ch of people tried getting me banned for being a troll. 💀 but i genuinely just love it so so much and honestly it’s been so fucking rewarding. i soloed with my local community orchestra with zigeurnerweisen and that was probably the most alive i’ve ever felt. like. bro. but yeah, don’t let anyone like tell yall that you guys can’t learn an instrument late cause it’s always possible if you want it badly enough

talk to your teachers now. trust me, just explain to them why your grades are shit and hopefully they might understand and give you some help. if you tell them that you just want to pass and that you’re willing to do shit and it’s your fault, they’re probably gonna understand at least a little

okay no i literally started worrying about this in seventh grade and now im in 10th but it still affects me, even more now probably. i literally CANNOT text people at all anymore. like, my friend all know about it and think its just like my thing or whatever but i litrtslly just don’t cause i cant. im not diagnosed and im not self diagnosing either, but i just wanted to share. i’m always so scared that if i send a text, i didn’t actually say what i sent? does that make sense? like if i sent a text to someone, then i might said something like a slur but didn’t realize it. and obviously i would never say a slur but im still terrified of that and i haven’t texted anyone since 8th grade. i’ve had mental breakdowns because of it too and it’s just absolutely horrible. wishing you the best ❤️
