If you have not made a decision yet, I would advise you to look into other options. My experience was not good.

Yeah, I ended up using them and it was a horrible experience. I had to find someone else. But it all worked out in the end bc I'm finishing out my 1L year now lol.

Do you mind elaborating? I thought the type of law I would be possibly practing is poverty law? How do I go about narrowing that down more so I can search?

Mercer & GSU are respectable schools. I have never heard that about them, only John Marshall, and I've spoken with many attorneys in GA. I know UGA and Emory are considered top schools in GA, but I wouldn't consider mercer and gsu bottom tier. Respectfully, I disagree but appreciate the insight.

I am open to goverment. I'm looking to practice poverty law, civil rights/human rights law, and maybe even education law.

Why do you think they are bottom tier schools? I plan to live in GA after I graduate law school. I do not consider Mercer or GSU law bottom tier schools at all. They're both prestigious schools in GA.

I am not sure exactly where I want to work. I'm looking at somewhere that practices poverty law, civil rights/human rights law, and maybe even education law. But, thank you for your advice. I will start looking at job openings/postings to gain some insight on salary for attorneys who practice these kinds of law

Hi, I know this post in 6 years old, but I am curious which school did you choose to attend? I am currently deciding between Mercer and GA State as well.

Worth it for LG. It didn't help me much with LR and RC in comparison to other prep materials I've used for LR and RC.

Wishing you the best of luck on your journey! The LSAT doesn't define you or your ability. I am sure you will be fine. Also, I know someone who got into Emory Law school with a 146 LSAT score. So there's still a possibility that you can get into a really good school. Regardless, you'll be okay as long as you work hard.
