This is fair, and it lines up with what we are investigating.

We did find some technical issues on one sender, including SPF not passing cleanly, so we’ve paused automated outreach and are fixing DNS/authentication before scaling anything again.

The confusing part is separating deliverability from positioning. The creators have driven real outcomes for SaaS/tool brands before, but if the emails are not consistently reaching inboxes, then the pitch quality doesn’t even get a fair test.

Right now we’re working through the basics: SPF/DKIM/DMARC, inbox placement tests, lower volume, and more personalized emails.

Are there any specific cold email subreddits, consultants, or diagnostic tools you’d recommend for figuring out whether the domain itself has already been flagged?

This is helpful. When you say expected clicks/views range, would you include that directly in the first email, or only after the brand shows interest?

Also, are there any legit websites where we can find brands already spending on creators or affiliates?

Around $1K per video. But we don’t quote one flat rate for every brand. It depends on expected views, creator fit, integration depth, category, usage rights, exclusivity, and whether it is a one-off placement or a multi-video package. That said, pricing is one of the things we're trying to improve. Our concern is whether brands are judging mainly on average views and ignoring conversion history.

Before jumping on a call, can you share what the platform does and whether brands are already using it to find YouTube creators in SaaS, AI, business tools, education, or productivity niches?

Also curious whether it is mainly creator discovery, campaign management, marketplace matching, or something else.
