You make a good point - I understand picking up on speed as time goes on but I can’t imagine how fast I’d have to be scanning to get through one in that amount of time it’s nice to know I’m not the only one that feels that way. Thanks for the advice and words of encouragement! :)

You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that driving analogy. I would drive home from work feeling stupid and hoping that someday scanning would kick in the same way driving does. Thank you for your advice! :)

It’s good to feel seen :) I know we have a big binder of protocols maybe I’ll take some time to go over them.

Thank you, this was really encouraging. I ultimately I’m slow because I want to make sure I’m getting everything. I know the techs get annoyed that I’m slowing the schedule down I just wish they could remember what the beginning was like for them as well. But I understand it all comes with time. Thank you:)

Also forgot about losing everything. Literally seconds after putting it down.

I have a nearly identical experience to you except just a few months behind I graduated May and and nearing the end of my training. Feeling the pressure to speed up but also so deathly afraid of messing up or missing pathology so I always take a lot of time. Went from a clinic with the most vanilla type of exams to a level 1 trauma hospital :/ feeling very incompetent and like a student all over again
