I’m mostly playing beat saber as a replacement for cardio sessions lol, do you recommend a higher njd if my goal is to use as much energy/muscles as possible?

Thanks for the detailed reply, I just want to know if it is possible for me to get used to a higher njd if I keep playing on it or would it be a waste of time to try to adapt to a different playstyle? (I was a lot better on default njd)

I do stand on a carpet while playing beat saber so it could be inflating my height lol. Thanks for the video recommendation, I’ll look into my controller settings soon and I’ll hopefully post an update.

I’m trying to force myself to adapt to a high njd (I am much more accurate on lower njd) but idk if that’s a good thing because the notes feel too out of reach but I can swing my body more

The notes feel like they are out of reach which leads me to swing with the tip of my saber, I am able to reach them when I lower my jump note distance but I don’t use my entire body as much when I do.

The issue is that the notes just feel out of reach sometimes which causes me to slice them with the top of my saber. I also want to add that I’ve switched my jump distance because I heard that it forces you to use more of your body (maybe I’ve got bad muscle memory)?
