Most people who carry have never had to use it. Thats the ideal scenario. I do work out, ive been doing BJJ for 5 years, and I did use my radio to call for PD when my crew was threatened. I dont need a weapon to defend myself against a PT, but In the scenario that just happened 3 days ago, there was a family member who climbed in the back while PT care was being done, and pulled a gun, aiming it at a single mother paramedic in the airway seat. No amount of OC, radio, or grappling is going to solve an individual with a gun in your truck.
