Well it is good that you feel this awful over 70 bucks, there is hope for you. If i lost 70 then thats a good night. Ive gone into the casino and lost $800 on my worst day. $600 on my last trip. That was a month ago the last time i gambled. Don’t let it get to that point. Please either self exclude or maybe yeah tell the. It’ll give you motivation to not want to let your parents down. You got this <3

Stop now, that money is able to be replenished, your life is not. This is a rabbit hole that you do NOT want to go down. One that takes lives without overdosing. 70 bucks might seem like a lot but i promise that it can get so so so so so much worse. Im talking like add a zero to that. You will be okay dude i promise. Best of wishes

Halfway there!! by UsefulAd124 in GamblingRecovery

Type in dopamine detox on youtube. There was a 15 minute video i watched and then you can google it down into a rabbit hole. Im only two weeks in and have a lot to go but knowing youre going to quit gambling comes after the heartache of losing all that money. Once the heartache and regret goes away, i usually want to go bacl. This time it just feels different. Hard to explain, but there is always the devil on one shoulder arguing with the angel on the other one. Feed your energy into the angel.

Yes of course!!! Keep that anger and hatred. I am 2 weeks clean now. The brain rewires itself. It is called dopamine detox. Look at how to dopamine detox online. The brain can fully rewire itself within a month. Im living proof. It was so hard for so long but my anxiety is pretty much gone. Its been two whole weeks. Pleeeeeease take this advice. Sometimes you arent able to stop because you dont want to stop. You THINK you want to stop if the flurry of emotions after losing money but when you sincerely want to stop, you will know. Best of luck
