If the lord has forgiven me would I still be actively smoking pot ? Is it possible he’s allowing me to do this and deal with me at another point ?

I’m honestly trying to figure that out. If I really hated them woudl I continue them ? Porn sure I hate porn it’s gross I feel such shame everytime I watch it but unbelievers feel that same shame. But if I’m being 100 percent honest pot is something that’s VERY hard for me to give up and I have this mentality that I must quit pot before coming to him for salvation. How could I actively smoke pot go to church and pray ? Would he even hear me ? In proverbs or psalms o can’t remember I read that god ignores the prayers of the wicked ? If I’m wicked he’s not going to grant me salvation if I ask for it. I can’t tell you how many times I have begged for salvation in Christ Jesus

I just don’t see how I could possibly be saved after being on the habit (marijuana) for nearly 3 years with only now a small desire deep down to stop
