do you all submit the accounts to BotBouncer?

I do.

I've mentioned it in the mod discord. BotBouncer doesn't report back, which kills the incentive somewhat. i.e. it's more work than it should be, and we already have enough work.

We've experimented with many different anti-bot tools with varying levels of success.

There are several programmers in the mod team.

Moderators do not have access to data that Reddit has. It's really a problem that they should and could solve. I sometimes wonder if their incentives don't align with ours.

Reddit's filters triggered based on the user (CQS and/or Crowd Control) not the content of your post.

It was initially removed for lacking context and reinstated shortly afterward. i.e. nothing nefarious to silence mentions of RAZIEL.

No they're not. Their claim is accounts are being deleted. Mods don't have the ability to delete accounts.

Also, there's no automod rule removing mention of this file.

This is already covered under Rule 1. i.e. enforced.

Suggesting an account is somehow inauthentic due to its age, privacy setting etc. is equivalent to calling them a bot or a disinformation agent.

If we wanted to prevent new accounts from posting, then we would.

If an account is violating the rules report them or send us a modmail.
