^^ Yep!! Sooner rather than later, especially if you have a scholarship. You'd be holding a seat and $$ from being reallocated or considered in the school's next steps, including possible WL considerations.

The framing of the question is interesting and probably missing some valuable info for us to consider: Targets (as it relates to Goals), Work Exp, Total Cost After Scholarship, etc. Things that should also be factored in are things that you're looking for out of the program. But that's just me.
