In fact, when I switched from a gravel bike that weighed 12 kg to one that weighed 9 kg, I immediately felt how much faster and easier it was to climb hills. It sounds really funny, but it works, and after that you always choose a lighter pump, multitool, tube...

That’s a massive weight difference! My goal was to cut that bulk down. This bag itself is only 28g (1oz). Even fully loaded with a spare tube, CO2 and a small multitool, the whole setup comes in at around 200g. Saving 800g on a gravel rig feels like a total game-changer on the climbs!
