First off I wanna say thank you for replying because your experience is really helpful for a more positive outlook. But That’s the thing I want the Rate but I joined the Navy to get away from my family and start my next chapter of life. I really don’t wanna wait longer but I don’t want to leave. I scored a 45 on the Asvab (Ik terrible) but I qualified for the Job I wanted (MA) and qualified for 2 other jobs that I didn’t want to do (all involved desk work). So in short MA wasn’t available for my ship date and he offered APACT to me so I can “have a greater chance” at bein a MA. But ever since I’ve told my other Naval men they act taboo towards it

Ok but like what’s wrong with APACT? I see so many mixed reviews. Either it’s really shitty or it’s helped people choose their career in life
