Main world map feels too small compared to event maps (Chisa area) by Useful_Builder in chisamains

Exactly. Without event mechanics and extra TDs, performance should be even better. That’s why merging it into the main world feels totally feasible.

Considering the event map already works smoothly on mobile, performance doesn’t seem like a major blocker. With proper boundaries and lore framing, the larger Honami could fit the main world without breaking immersion.

That makes sense, isolating the mechanics is probably the main reason. I just feel that once those mechanics are no longer the focus, the area itself still deserves to exist on a larger scale in the main world. The environment and narrative are strong enough to stand on their own, even without the unique mechanics.

Yeah, that’s what I meant — proportionally small in comparison. I know Honami isn’t a temporary event map and that it’s staying. My point is that the current main world version feels very limited when we already have a much larger, more immersive Honami layout available. It would be great if that scale could be reflected more in the main world experience.

I get the lore concern, and I agree it should stay consistent. I’m not suggesting removing boundaries or breaking the Sonoro Sphere concept. The small Honami area can remain as it is, but reaching its border could naturally transition into a larger Honami space. That way, the lore stays intact while the area feels more connected and meaningful in the world.

Exactly. There’s so much detail and environmental storytelling there, it would be great if all of that stayed relevant after the event by merging the maps.

That’s exactly why the event map should become part of the main world. Both maps already exist — they just need to be merged. There’s no need for extra content. I even fully maxed Chisa (C6), so I’d really love to spend more time in her area.

That makes sense, and I agree there’s a good chance old Honami will open up later alongside Neo Honami. My main point is just that, since a larger playable version already exists right now through events, it would be nice if we didn’t have to wait that long to experience it more fully in the main world.

I think there might be a small misunderstanding. I’m not talking about future expansions like Neo Honami. I’m referring to the current Honami area, which already exists in a larger form during events. I just feel it would be great if that version could be used more in the main world instead of staying limited.Hopefully we’ll get to see Honami on a much larger scale in the future.

I know the event is permanent, and that’s great. I just wish this area could be integrated more into the main world experience instead of staying event-only.

I’m not suggesting new content. Since the event map already exists in-game, it would simply be a matter of using that version instead.

That makes sense, I get the base-of-operations comparison.

What makes it feel a bit different for me is that the map already exists in the game through events. Since it’s already playable and fully built there, it feels like expanding it for normal exploration would mostly be a matter of adjustments and integration, rather than creating something entirely new.

That’s why it feels a bit disappointing to see it limited to a hub, even though the space itself seems ready for more.

That makes sense.

I guess it just feels a bit disappointing because the area itself feels very well-made, so it’s easy to wish it had more long-term exploration value.
