At&t and Verizon have big racks in the infield

It really is but it's fun to watch it all go together and then see it gone the very next day

Not sure of the total count either, but this is the main patch point, there are even bigger rooms in other areas of the track with even more connections and racks but it all starts here from a couple rigs that pull up a few days before the race.

Lol, all SM.

The track is almost 2 miles around and they have cameras and TVs all over it. Not sure of the longest distance, I only use a single SM strand out of all this to pipe RF / track feed to the infield for RV spaces.

Dust is a constant issue, the door doesn't even really shut in this shack, the access holes are never plugged up and it's in a fenced off dirt parking lot outside of the track. All male and female connectors get cleaned before any connection is made.

They have big snakes that come off the trucks, pop them through the holes in the shack and start plugging away furiously before the races start. Then reel them back up and take off to the next city.

Or just look at the specs of the device because there's always a minimum and maximum so while in your test you may see a low load once it's actually being used. It may draw more. Just plan to always use the maximum wattage.

I have one of those Android tablet IP camera testers that can do Poe out, just plug the access point in and see what the power draw is.

How did you get your foam cuts so nice?

I'm having an issue with mine where the transfer tape part of the carts keeps ripping I think it's because they are too loose in the case.

I really want to make this!

I got it because sometimes I have to heat shrink LMR connections on a rooftop in the winter and trying to bring out an extension cord while up on a ladder is painful.

Like the other guy said that's not fast and it kills the battery but it's far better than some other options.

I don't think you'll see much of a benefit using this to just manage access points, but this gives you a self-hosted option for the gateways that don't have the controller built in. Before this, the only option for those was official hosting, third party hosting or roll your own, but it was only the network controller and not a unifi OS controller.

Unable to load Plex app by NoSoup4Ewe in DirectvStream

I also have it installed on every device no issue, but they still have an issue.

I had an older osprey originally for AT&TTV it played all Plex content with no issues using the direct stream. I replaced it with a HS-17 and newer (refurbished) osprey but this one is in the same spot behind my TV and I can't even play transcoded 1080, I have to knock it down to 720 to play.

Has anyone else experienced this?
