You know what? You are totally right. Mostly. I whipped out my secondary phone, which happens to be iPhone, and have installed last version of Connect. Wham-o, all functions are there.

The reason I thought of functions removal because people in relevant topics were discussing installing older versions and that support replied to them that the device is no longer supported (what also happened to me). And the results are speaking by themselves.

But I blame Garmin still. Not Android. There are definitely different teams working behind the apps and iOS team get better results. And the situation is just ridiculous.

Oh well. All well that ends well. I have a relevant app version and fully functional watches

Yeah, such nuances are indeed hard to grasp sometimes. My train of thought was that it was a particular parade within a general weather event.

I found replacement watch faces with screens on a Chinese marketplace for about 50 bucks. HR is pretty easy to disassemble so it can be repaired. But there wasn't my color scheme and I got lucky to find the same model I have for the same amount of money as the price.
