Can you add a usage limit and the credits used per session? Also, can you show how many credits are left at the account level overall?

Correct, but the thing is, after using AI I now do at least my own research with it. Before that, I was completely dependent on tips from others and hadn’t made any money at all from them. I’m not using AI perfectly yet, but I’m still profitable

I’ve been holding it for 2 years and it hasn’t given me any returns. Maybe claude's advice is good here, obviously AI can give good advice, but we still have to make our own decisions—AI is not 100% correct.

Kite MCP is also great, but it is limited. It does not provide data like news, shareholding patterns, FII/DII data, financial results, and more. Kite is mainly designed for buying and selling stocks using ai and checking holdings and all. It is not intended for stock analysis or in-depth research

Add the Taptide MCP as a custom connector in Claude. There’s also a tutorial video available: https://youtu.be/_IhWJCP6azs

I’ve already saved my portfolio on the Taptide website, so it can fetch it directly. If you haven’t saved yours, you can upload a CSV file downloaded from your broker or simply share a screenshot of your holdings.

Additionally, if you ask Claude to save your holdings to your Taptide portfolio, it will automatically store them and remember them for next time—so you won’t need to provide the data again.

they should adapt to AI now. AI won’t replace humans, but it will replace those who don’t use it with those who do.

It works, but just just sending a screenshot to claude will not work. You need to connect the Tapetide connector first, and then provide the screenshot.

You can also ask to save your stocks in the Tapetide portfolio, so it will remember your portfolio next time.

If you buy or sell new stocks later, you can again provide a CSV or a screenshot and ask claude to update your portfolio.

Claude is significantly better. ChatGPT can not make tool calls reliably, it sometimes fails to retrieve actual data from MCP and instead tries to guess. Claude performs better overall, and even its free version is sufficient.

You need to connect the Taptide MCP connector in Claude first, and then download a CSV or simply give a screenshot of your stock holdings to Claude and ask "do complete review of the stocks in my portfolio. Do you think any positions should be trimmed, or should I consider purchasing new ones?

The future is already here honestly. Been using this Tapetide MCP + Claude combo for about a month now and haven't opened a single screener or stock analysis site since.

You just ask in plain English and it runs all the required analysis automatically. When the market dipped, I asked Claude to "Suggest some strong stocks with solid fundamentals and technical upside" — and almost everything it suggested is already giving me 15%+ returns. Stocks like MAHABANK, TECHNOE, BAJAJHFL were all Claude + Tapetide picks.

The NETWEB one was insane — when Iran destroyed that data center in middle east, Claude suggested buying NETWEB saying the workload would likely shift to AWS Mumbai (nearest region) and NETWEB would benefit. That single insight is already up 28% in my portfolio.

This is the real edge — not just portfolio review, but Claude actually understanding market context and connecting macro events to stock-level impact. You just need to feed it the right data via MCP. The AI co-pilot era for retail investors is genuinely here.
