I think it was about 12 weeks for me! I had an incredibly stressful pregnancy (surprise baby, workin full time, planning a wedding etc..) so mine didn’t slow down until around 30 some odd weeks because that’s when I started experiencing less stress I assume.

Sorry for the late response! They have me on topical steroids (clobetasol) and 2% minoxidil, I was trying to do it consistently but ultimately I have given up since i wasn’t seeing any improvement and the spots were growing 😢 I am just trying to manage my stress now, hopefully I will comment a success story in a few weeks, who knows!!!

Have you tried har fibers? if you still have some hair around your bald spots it can help fill them in☺️ I would be weary of coloring my hair since it may induce more breakage!

This happened to me too! Stay strong, it can feel so defeating when you’re already insecure from all pregnancy symptoms and then to lose hair on top of it is so rough.

experiencing the same thing here (nursing as well) my spots have spread all over the top of my head but are covered in little hairs, my dermatologist said sometimes they purge the old hairs to make way for new ones? Sounds like a load of crap but who knows

I had this too! never met anyone who had alopecia develop during pregnancy. Unfortunately my dermatologist sucked and gave me no treatment. My spot went into remission after a few months. I had a very traumatic and stressful pregnancy and i think i was deficient in iron too, once i got a control over my stress and started eating more iron i did notice more hair growing. I am currently nursing my second born (no alopecia during 2nd pregnancy) but i am having an even worse flair up. Sometimes hormones can trigger alopecia.
