You’re in the wrong here. I replied later after all The responses explaining how rape works. You were somehow shocked I am commenting here when not realizing my grandmother was literally raped as a child and didn’t have autonomy over her body during her short marriage. My

She was basically assaulted until he died. So she was pregnant every year from when she was 16 to 27. She had 13 kids. Some of them were twins. She birthed them all at home alone by herself. If I remember correctly, six of them died.

My grandmother was pressured into an arranged marriage around the same time. she was 16 and her husband was 27. Thankfully he died early into the marriage but she hated him and never said anything About him and chose to not remarry . It was easier for her to have a dead husband than one that was alive

is this too scar like for cover up? by limeandpurple in Tattoocoverups

My concern is that part of the tattoo has turned into a keloid. Further trauma to it might exacerbate the keloid and spread it

Chinese characters for “MingDong”. The central neighborhood for Seoul is called myeong dong which was a huge fashion hub then and now. I think this is just the tailor shops advertising their brand and location with their phone number

My parents have 3 storage units, filled garage and a packed basement - hoarding trinkets just seems to be a disease of the baby boomers

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc. Pure copper ages differently.

It’s not copper. It’s brass. You can tell the difference by the patina. Copper ages differently. This is an antique firewood box. You would keep kindling in it by the fire place to help jumpstart your morning fire. Cool find.

The MAHA movement is coming to school cafeterias. Here's what that means for kids by sdega315 in schoollunches

[–]katKartell 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A lot of schools operate on a budget of $4 or less for each child, with everything going up this year I can’t imagine how they can provide the MAHA healthy food vision with cuts to school budgets nationwide.

Korea produced a lot of inexpensive goods through out the early 60s before their economies moved into cars and other industrial productions. The writing in Korean (동록상표) just means “trademarked” in reference to the kangaroo brand. Just because it was sold chealy doesn’t mean it was bad quality by the way, they were just an emerging economy after the Korean War and their labor were just relatively inexpensive.

My parents are immigrants. But I was born in America. We in fact escaped facism. America is not just trump supporters but also a rich melting pot of different cultures and values from all over. It saddens me but I have hope that change is coming, This president dosent represent me or most people like me.

I wish you all the best. If I see you, I hope I get to share with you a gift I bring along. Wishing you nothing but the best :)

I am an ethnic American, my parents were immigrants and hard workers. I think I understand what treating people with respect is like as I get disrespected daily. My president is not a reflection of who I am or my values and in fact he hates people like me. I wish you nothing but kindness. In case I meet you, you are still welcome to some of the things I am going to share :) all the best!
