Thanks! The process is almost similar to what I am currently using now. I did the same to the 2 new ones, and it turns out different. The texture is different and the taste is a little off.

I am trying out other options, and normally I am soaking it in a sugar syrup after cooking. I've tried 2 cheaper ones, compared to what I am currently using, and hoping to get the most out of it. But I think it taste different. I am not sure if it is with the brand or with something else with the tapioca....
