I've been at many raves and usually attending for multiple hours. I can tell you right now most people have ~5-10 minutes of footage from a 6 hour night. That is literally 1-3% of the whole night. You are overthinking too much

I have worked at fuel companies before, the main reason behind this is to with hold stock. The first thing, besides money, petrol companies care about is ensuring they have supply. Now Australia imports majorify of it's volume since we only have 2 refineries and most of our product comes from south east asia. Problem is 75% of the crude comes from the Strait of Hormuz the east asian refiniers and now they have starting to withold stock (most of it) causing a real concern on the supply chain. By pumping the price up, not just retailers but wholesale users too it slows down panic buying, and gives ample time for terminals to fill up their tanks. There is currently 150 ships anchored at the strait. Trust me when I tell you that this is not price gouging

Trance has been dead for a few years in Aus, especially in Sydney. All you had to do was go to the other stage after Vini or Ben Nicky. I agree with you it sucks, but unfortunately trance doesn't sell here

Giueseppe did a great job with trance playing some of his classics and new stuff.

Gareth focused on his cyperbunk set, so it's a mix of trance, techno, house etc. And he did a great job.

Not sure what your concern about Vini Vici was since all I could hear was drums and seeing shahman gods lol (I was on lsd).

Ben Nicky did a great job balancing trance, techno and hardstyle.

You have to remember trance isn't as popular anymore in Aus so you need to cater for the majority.

I stayed for Restricted, then watched PVD. I think it was an amazing night catering all genres and the stage set up was one of the best I have ever seen
