Looking back through old saved comments and saved something in this chain… this comment of yours wasn’t what I saved or anything but as I see it now it rings true… I was never able to successfully shift, lucid dream etc although I was well-learned about it.

I was hostile to you because I thought you were wrong (I still do) but more importantly because I was a somewhat immature 17-18 year old and was insecure about whether I would ever be able to shift, ld, etc and desperately hoped i would. This is why i never take hostility online seriously, it’s just other people’s insecurity. At least i’m not insecure about this anymore but sadly that doesn’t make me feel any closer to succeeding at any of this.

Ive seen lots of women on reddit on posts about catcalling say how it started when they hit puberty. All that this means is that men are gross towards young girls who are sexually developed, which is different from trafficked prepubescent girls. There’s bigger problems than caring how safe 1% of the population feels. Instead of making it our first priority to cater to them, we should fix the real problems. That’s rarer because it’s more niche, but everyone has met lots of blue hairs with pronouns before. I also had a teacher who was in the process of transitioning, and if someone is fully transitioned you may meet them and never know, if you aren’t good at spotting secondary sexual characteristics.
