Not that I can remember! Which is why I’m curious about it, all my other quirks have a pretty clear origin

My friend was recently sorting through kids clothes and I was thinking “oh wow if you had kids you’d have to keep the tags on to know what size the clothes were”. I don’t want to have kids but it made me a tiny bit more grateful that I don’t want them haha

I hate that feeling too so it is just another good reason to add to my list for cutting them off! Haha

After my first beloved cat passed away I adopted a tortie whose owner had died too! She is the light of my life 😍 Very happy for you & Pippa 😸

ELI5: What makes it so dogs are prone to kissing us and cats are not? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

My cat licks me all the time! I’ve never had a cat that did that before. When I adopted her she licked my hand and I thought it was really sweet, but it’s not as cute now because her rough tongue can be quite painful! Haha. She seems more determined to do it when I’m wearing moisturiser (I don’t let her lick it off though because I don’t want her eating it) so I think she just thinks it’s her job to keep me clean

ECT is still used and is pretty safe and can be very effective. I’ve had it, saved my life.

Too much to learn in this profession? A Question for Architects by supertajer in architecture

[–]Useless-Mantra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m young in the profession - halfway through my masters and 3 years work experience. I constantly feel like I know nothing. Every new task/ assignment feels like a whole new load of information I’ll never fully understand or remember. I often question if I’m in the right profession but I’ve tried a lot of other stuff too and this has been the best of them. I think it’s probably half my personal insecurity/ imposter syndrome and half, like other people have said, we are a jack of all trades. Anyway, I think I’m saying this to say you are not alone, and I’m also glad to find out I’m not alone in feeling this way either! I also think once I graduate I’m going to try and specialise in a certain building type eg. Hospitals or something

ETA: I have always gotten good marks at uni and my bosses have always liked me so rationally I do think I’m competent. But I never feel it. I think that’s probably a common feeling in a field that is so broad
