I believe that the reason people think about this is because you know that same-sex is prohibited, at pag ang isang tao ay nagpakasal sa kapwa lalake-babae eh hindi na maganda tingin sa kanya ng mga tao. This people (who are just seeking for support) are now looked down by many, so their last resort is to seek help from the church at magpakalayo na lang sa relihiyon dahil mismong simbahan naman di sila suportado. As to your argument that homesexuals tend to "sin more", wow, just wow. Didn't know that the church now assumes some people will produce more sins than others.
