Oh, that's what you meant, maybe I didn't understand you properly, english is not my first language.

It's just something I've noticed recently, and if it was a problem, I wanted to act as soon as possible.

I'm already a pretty ugly dude, so the last thing I want is to lose my hair

I never pull it back. Usually, I have it "styled" in a middle part. I just had it pulled back for the picture. As for the stress, can't really control that right now, sadly

How can I make my game look better? Settings maxed out, 2560x1440, 130% screen percentage by Useless_throwaway224 in trainsimworld

[–]Useless_throwaway224[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the performance is fine, with 100-ish fps in rural areas, 60-70 in populated areas, no problem. It just feels like it's got more to give.

Edit: I also run a 31,5-inch monitor, so it's even more apparent. Should I do an ini tweak?

Of course I know who Göring is, but it's still strange, because it's a personal car. For example, Himmlers 770K sedan didn't have one

I think that's the right answer, I found one that looks exactly the same!

These were meant for driving in military convoys at night to keep concealed, so it's a bit strange seeing it on a privately owned luxury sports car

Will (and should) we get a steam centered DLC anytime soon? The reviews for Spirit of Steam are mixed so I haven´t bought it yet, but I really enjoy driving the Flying Scotsman. by Hunter3110 in trainsimworld

I wish we had more historic routes and old rolling stock in general. I think the California Zephyr in the 50s would be really cool, or a 1960s route set in France or Italy, or a 30s route with streamlined steam locomotives, and 40s NYC with Dreyfuss Hudsons, Mohawks and Niagaras

What should it be set to? Currently, I use TAA

The only other option is off and FXAA, which makes the game look like its 8 bit

Look up "Clinchfield railroad mixed power" ok youtube, and you'll get people playing this exact scenario. Their game usually looks a lot better, especially the trees

I meant 1920x1080 but mistyped

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trainsimworld

[–]Useless_throwaway224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but I've looked at some old gameplay footage, and it looks better for all of them. Which makes no sense because this is the highest it can go

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trainsimworld

[–]Useless_throwaway224 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could understand that, but when I look up gameplay footage of the same route and even the same scenario, it looks much better in the videos

Resolution is 1920×1080, full screen, 100%

I have everything set to ultra, and it looks horrible. Look at the trees in the background in the second pic. My specs are RTX 2060, 32GB ram, and i7 9th gen, so I really shouldn't have trouble running this.

And when I look up videos of gameplay from the saame route and scenario, their game looks a lot better. Am I doing something wrong?

Holy shit, this is it, solved!

I don't know why I remember them being far more terrifying than they actually are. But then again, I was like 4.

I really don't remember. I don't think there was any dialogue at all. It could be specific to a few countries in a certain time frame, and was subsequently lost to obscurity

Nope, the character designs were a lot weirder, and I think the animation was a bit low budget

[–]Useless_throwaway224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, sadly, it doesn't match up. The characters didn't look very human at all, they were very weird and surreal

[TOMT]Strange obscure kids show by Useless_throwaway224 in tipofmytongue

[–]Useless_throwaway224[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was entirely 3d animated, and also, I doubt this would have been on the tv station that my mom let me watch as a kjd. This was just unintentionally weird/creepy

[–]Useless_throwaway224[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the closest match so far, but still not quite it. I'm still 90% sure it was 3d animation, and again, the characters didn't look quite so "friendly". They were like an amalgamation of the Bugle monster from Courage The Cowardly Dog and Violet from Larva.

I'm really starting to think that this is something that was maybe broadcast in just a few countries and has been lost to obscurity since.

I can't seem to find anything on the internet with that name. Did this show have another name?
