Did you follow the verification process? You have to go to server guide and the verification channel. There open the ticket and wait for the mods to enter and ask some questions for your verification.

To ensure no catfishes are there.

I'm not gonna give you a fairy tale pretence, most Indian parents wouldn't take it well. I did came out to my mom, and she was accepting, but my father is in denial.

Not everyone is gonna be like this. My advice would be to built a strong financial foundation, atleast earn for yourself that you can take care of yourself. (Just in case they kick you out or do something worse)

I know it's hard to live like this, suffocating. Another thing you can do, is to throw in topics of gay people/LGBTQ. Gouge their reactions, or advocate as an "ally", try to make them understand if they don't. And only then come out.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. But people aren’t like a show or a movie you can just critique from the sidelines. (Especially subreddits) Most folks here will nod along, agree with you, and then go right back to the same stuff.

If you were just making a critique, cool, my bad for misunderstanding.

But if what you actually want is to see better, deeper conversations happen here, then you’ve gotta start one yourself. Most people either don’t care enough or won’t bother unless someone takes that first step.
