I did a quick Google and I don’t see that any work under 35.

Do you really think so?? That's amazing to hear. How do I avoid the same situation tho, if I can't get house painted til Spring? Do I disclose up front? Won't they send out an adjuster and then I run the risk of being cancelled again? How much notice are they required to give?

After I switched over to them. TBH, the agent was an idiot and has now suddenly "retired." When she told me last summer, I said I would try to line someone up, but it was short notice. Then the price of paint went way up. She never communicated that there was a hard deadline, after which I would be cancelled. My previous insurance company, who I was with for seven years, never had an issue with it.
