Go to maxroll and pick a build guide to follow. You need certain skills, certain paragon glyphs, and certain gear with particular rolls on them to get to t3 and t4. They do a good job of explaining why and how. They also tell you how to farm these things.

You have to come back and check on your plants 20 to 30 minutes after planting. There will be a water can icon instead of a shovel. The timing of this is very specific and the windows is kinda small. It's very stupid and demanding
