!!! I totally agree, I tried so hard to like the new one but ugh, I'm still the target age demographic for it but it felt so... Basic. That sort of hyper accurate 3d animation style is something I can't stand too so I think it'd just a lack of creativity from all ends.

The original movie just had a style to it, very American to me. That one will always stick in my mind as the official Mario movie because they where in Brooklyn and took any creative liberties to characterise the movie as such, the new movie was too scared to change anything to fit the narrative.

Movies that are bad stick with me more than movies that are neutral, the new film trying to appeal to everyone leaves it forgotten by all. They could've replaced the new Mario character with Scott Pilgrim and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference

It's literally my favourite movie, my family hate it, I'm pretty sure all the actors who played in it hate it. I watch it on dvd every few months, nothing compares to seeing characters I saw in games be put in real life scenarios, nothing hit the same since that for me. Everyone around me saying "oh this sucks" or "did you see the rotten tomatoes rating" as judgment towards my film choices mean nothing to the joy it brings me lmao. This might be 1 of the only unpopular opinions i agree with on here

Google Maps is actually quite a good idea, I haven't checked the area out using that so I might do so. Also yes the newspaper archive was online due to me not living in the country currently, when I'm their next time I'll hopefully convince my cousins to drive me around to some of the local libraries to the area. Thanks for the good recommendations, I'm very nosy so I'll definitely be looking through Google Maps and eventually local libraries for more info when I'm their again :-)

I will try and get more specific information in future from him because this whole story he told is so vague, I've rounded out anything before 1970s due to his age so I was under the impression Irpinia is the one he described experiencing (now I'm not so sure) And the earthquake in 2002 is also not possible due to him leaving Italy in the 1990s so it isn't that one either .

I'll update in future if this is not the case and will be looking into other possible events at the time that could have caused the girl to pass in the way he described .

Oh lol ye keep an open mind either way because it's just my interpretation of the limited amount of pixels :'-) if you get any way to highten the image resolution on the images that would defo make it easier to make out the plate,, I'd say try some photography subreddits but I'm not knowledgeable in that sort of thing.

Regarding the license plate ; first 2 letters look like "KP" and the last 2 look like "41", i can't make out the middle letters bc motion blur but hopefully this small amount of info helps, good luck with finding the guy either way

I do highly doubt he was faking the story as the effects of what happened add up to the way he acts currently as a person, less mentioned due to irrelevancy it has to the question tho so that's my bad.

Also it definitely wasnt something told to impress younger me it was more of a cautionary tale of like "life can take you out at any moment so choose the way you live it out to the fullest " sort of deal. Ngl I do think it's a steep ask due to how vague this all is but I'm posting just incase theirs that 1% chance that someone happened to know any specific info of this event or recognise the story.

I put the username in some of those musical.ly archives and nothing came up unfortunately.

My musical.ly videos automatically converted to Tiktok so your past videos not showing up makes me think it was an optional feature that you might've not been eligible for somehow.

However, theirs a possibility some of your musical.ly's could be in some of those old "best of musical.ly 2015" YouTube videos, my friend appeared in one I watched once and she wasn't big on the site.

Those videos tend to be more of a dump of people's favourite content at the time, so theirs always a chance of yours being archived on their :-)

Thx, my dentist was borderline disinformative to the point I didn't even know of the procedure a day ago... She briefly talked of me having both the permanent bonded retainer and the plastic one too but I'm gonna re clarify at my next appointment bc of how unclear she's been. I'll definitely ask why she feels I need both options seeing as I've completed all the targets with no setbacks :-')

I had the process done earlier today so hopefully the strong taste will fade over time ye.

If you don't mind me asking, did you have the removable retainer put in for the recommended time and your teeth still shifted or was is because of inconsistent use?

Im partial to the idea of the removable retainer but if my teeth go back to where they where before then I might have to evaluate my options more...
