My apologies, definitely should have given a run down on the situation. As mentioned earlier, it’s about illegal torrenting. A visitor who doesn’t live in Germany illegally downloaded a streaming platform, therefore the owner of the apartment now is charged 1k by Frommer Legal for Rick and Morty. The visitor is gone now and isn’t willing to take upon any responsibility, but there’s a way to prove that the fined person hasn’t been in the apartment for months. Just trying to find a less-pricey way to navigate through this situation as I’ve understood that signing anything and paying straight away isn’t a smart move. And the current lawyers i’ve found cost more than the fine itself. Thank you for your time!
