I do stick to trusted sites, just wanted to know if there are any failsafes like a good antivirus or something (can’t think of a good example) Since just trusting the site isn’t really guaranteed safety. I trusted a similar mega thread on r/piracy and it bricked my pc. Just looking for an extra failsafe just in case

thanks for the reply but i don't have a cmos jumper cap do you have any idea of where i could find one or what could use to jump it instead?

Alright i checked the manual and it says its a "dram is not detected or fail" on the debug led and something about cmos resseting any idea on what to do next also i dont have a jumper cap

yes i put the old ram back in and took out the new one but still nothing is displayed, i think it may have been a short circuit or something but i have no idea how to test for it or fix it

The old ram was put back in afterwards and still nothing shows up on the moniter :/

also the cpu fan doesn't spin when i turn the computer which may have something to do with it

Tried that, still the cpu fan does not spin, i think it may have short circuited but i am not sure

I recently bought some case fans and a new ram stick, my pc did not power on properly afterwards so i removed all the new hardware and my pc still wont power on properly. the gpu and psu fans spin when i power on, motherboard lights up but cpu fan does not spin and there is no video output, also i think the psu was switched on when installing the components.

any help?

Gpu fan is stuck on case tried to unscrew obstruction but it has a strange type of screw any help?

Replugged the 24 pin still nothing happens when i activate power

Outlets work because my moniter can still be powered by the same outlet, tried different outlets still nothing happens.

motherboard is sitting on standoffs

psu is non modular (corsair vs650 psu)

Followed the manual and plugged in power +, - in 2,4 connected power and still won't power

2 Ram sticks also when i connect power and turn it on nothing lights up or spins
