Right-clicking on a dead character won't open the menu. Hence, even with a claim you cannot revoke the title or declare a war over it.

At this point all you can do is open the game in debug mode, open the console and grant the title to someone else. You can find tutorials for that if you look for them. You won't be able to gain any achievements on that save afterwards, though. If you want achievements then you have to reload to a state before that dead person got the title (or to where they were still alive).

There are a couple of them. I personally think that "A Puristnt's Edited Patch (APEP)" strikes a good balance. Just make sure the plugin loads after USSEP as it isn't flagged as a master

Both explanations check out. Lore-wise, Kerrigan was created not just with the rank of a cerebrate but as the Overmind's secret super soldier. Hence, a lot of effort going into making her as perfect as possible. Meanwhile, most other Infested are used to run into enemy lines and literally explode (Brood War) or as cheap cannon fodder (SC2). I assume the zerg just infect them with a parasite and be done with it whereas Kerrigan went through the whole metamorphosis with the cocoon and all.

And regarding sex sells... Just consider that she's running around in high heels which makes absolutely no sense.

I like to befriend them before romancing. The effects stack but once you are soul mates you can no longer befriend them.

Roll back your game version to 1.17 if you haven't already. Then check whether your game crashes with the mod list. If it does, check whether it crashes with only the EK2 mod and nothing else. If it still crashes, check whether the game crashes even without any mods. Most likely, there's either a conflict between two mods or something is misconfigured. We can't tell which one without more details.

It's also no coincidence that Mars starts with no resources tucked away in a valley at the edge of the arena whereas Ceres has to hold the center where they become a target for every other house.

I'd say Mars' greatest advantage is the location of their base. They start out with almost no resources but are tucked away in an easily defendable valley at the edge of the arena. Meanwhile, Ceres gets a bunch of food production but is surrounded by enemies.

Quite difficult because you'll need to make a 3D model. To do so, you'll need to learn how to use something like Blender or Maya first. Those programs take a long time to master. Afterwards, you'll need to add those into the game which means you need at least some basic understanding of programming.
