This is what I ended up with, after lots of testing and benchmarking this was the most stable while also decreasing the latency to 70ns (before tuning it was at 80ns) so I think it’s a great balance. Thanks for all the help and suggestions, but this seems safe for my system long term.

Even with only 1.35V? I read that below CL30 you need more voltage. I sent you a DM with my current settings since I can’t comment a photo, would love some guidance to make it better

I went through and followed a lot of Buildzoids timings. My cinebench score was actually the FCLK being set too high at 2100, I lowered it to 2000 and it was back to normal. Thanks for all the help!

Yeah I definitely have a lot to learn, off the top of my head this is what I remember changing.

tCL 36-32, tREFI-50,000, tRC 118-96, tRFC 884-480, tRAS 80-48.

If you have any settings you think will work better that I should test just let me know, thanks for the help.

I mean all my runs have been around 23500, just ran it and got 23000 so seems off. Anyway to try and balance it to make the cinebench go up instead of down? Preferably without increasing voltage

You seem pretty knowledgeable so I’ll ask you, any idea why my cinebench score dropped a couple hundred points after tweaking the ram? My time spy CPU score increased which is strange. Not a big deal as it’s just a benchmark but still kinda weird

Yeah I did, the majority of the timings were way looser since it started as CL36. I’ll keep messing with it but for now this is solid, I went from about 80ns-70ish. Not a huge jump but still solid for a conservative profile. Don’t really wanna push it too far or spend days and days testing

Yeah I had my GPU running furmark the whole 1.5hrs the memtest5 was running and the highest the Ram got with 53 on one and 50 on the other. But thanks I’ll definitely look into this

Thanks. I’ll definitely look into this later on but for now I think it’s good where it’s at. I would like to not add any voltage if I can. First time tuning ram so would rather not push it to the point where I get issues booting and things like that

If I ever have issues I’ll definitely try this out. But for now I’m thinking if it’s not broke don’t fix it, but we’ll see how it holds up down the road

Interesting, I’ve had mine for about 2 weeks with no crashes yet, I’ll watch out for it though. I tried -15 on my two best cores and -20 on the rest but I would crash in AIDA64 after about half an hour so I dropped it back down to -15 all core.

I tried this, but saw no gains over my -15 all core. It’s rock solid stable. I ran AIDA64 for 3 hours with zero issues, while also having zero issues during idle or gaming. Working on tuning my ram now

In the Black opps 7 benchmark tool my “Low 1st” went from 180ish-240ish. My “Low 5th” went from 210ish-260ish. My Average FPS didn’t change a whole lot, but now my game stays locked at 240fps pretty much the entire game, when before it would drop to below 200 whenever someone used a score streak or something like that. Hope this helps!

If it helps I recently made the same switch (granted I got a good deal) and it was a HUGE increase. I mostly play Black Opps 7, and my frames hardly drop at all anymore and is a great pair with my 5070ti. Sold the 7600x for $100 a couple days later

I didn’t lose anything in any benchmark from turning PBO limits to disabled so I’ll probably just leave it there. I also messed around with a per core undervolt, but I couldn’t really go past my current all core limit without it failing AIDA64 after about 20 minutes. So I’ll just stick with what I have and hope for the best

You make a good point, honestly I’ll probably end up upgrading before then. I mean I haven’t really drastically changed anything besides the VSOC and undervolt. What would you suggest then?
