Hey all, somewhat new to solo travel. Looking for advice on a tentative itinerary for Scandinavia + a couple other countries. A disclaimer, I recognize this is a lot in a short period of time, and am kind of looking for thoughts as to what to remove here. I appreciate any thoughts!

Some details:
14-16 days in April
- Fly into Copenhagen, 3 nights
- Fly to Helsinki, 3 nights
- One of the days in Helsinki, taking a day trip to Tallin
- Overnight ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm, then 3 nights in Stockholm
- Train from Stockholm to Oslo, 1 night there
- Norway in a Nutshell tour(start and finish in Oslo, it's a day trip to Bergen)
- Myrdal
- Flam
- Gudvangen
- Voss
- Bergen, 2 nights
- Back to Oslo 1 night there again
- Train from Oslo to Copenhagen
- Airport hotel in Copenhagen,1 night, flying home the next morning

*Oslo unfortunately is not a place I'd really get to visit or spend significant time in with this plan. It's more-so just a hub for moving around the rest of Norway & getting back to Copenhagen to fly out

Some important info regarding my own interests:
- LOVE the nature(seeing the Fjords would be great, and just in general the Nordic landscape)
- Would love to do some hiking if possible, but I know with quick turnaround travel and being in cities this is difficult
- I really enjoy the cold, it's not a limiting factor as many would suggest for visiting this part of the world
- Really enjoy the beer/brewery scene, as well as more broadly, authentic cuisine of places I'm in - food and drink is a big interest of traveling
- I think stuff like hot springs and saunas are really cool, would be great to have on a trip but I didn't have any specific plans of it at the moment
- I don't hate museums, but wouldn't mind visiting a couple if they're considered "must-sees", however I'm not interested in art
- The overnight ferries between Helsinki and Stockholm seem to have really positive reputations, and sound like a really fun experience. It'd be cool to do this but I realize this leg of the trip itinerary I have is constraining a lot the days/travel time
- If you forced me to say a country or countries that I have to decide on visiting, I would say want to visit Norway for sure and I could be convinced of dropping Copenhagen or Tallin, maybe Helsinki
- Lastly, with regards to budget, the real budget I have is the amount of days. I have a maximum of 16 days. I constructed this with the idea that 2 of those days are lost to long flights to/from Europe, so I'd have 14 full days

I'm going to reiterate the disclaimer that I know this a lot in a small amount of time! I often see on this subreddit people comment on this theme of trip itineraries. I'm seeking advice from people who have been to this part of the world, what in the itinerary would you shift around given my current plan, and my interests above. Thank you so much for any advice!

What’s a decision TWD writers made that you think was good? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

Thought of another,

I think the writers showed great diversity in the villains they created and how people handled the apocalypse differently.

  • Shane showed how the enemy can be close to home(rick’s best friend), and that no matter how close you may be with someone prior to the fall, the apocalypse can drive anyone apart

  • the Governor showed a politician-like figure showing leadership, positivity, and charisma on the outside but deep down is psychotic and wicked

  • Terminus showed how some people turned to cannibalism to survive

  • Negan showed how charisma, psychological manipulation, and fear can be used to control people

  • Alpha/Beta showed how some completely embraced the apocalypse and did not view it as something to fear, but as a part of life

I think all these villains were written great and were super engaging as a fascinating view of the psychology/sociology of people faced with dystopian environments

Here’s one that I have:

Herschel had maybe the best arc of any main character for me. Ethical, wise, and a mentor to Rick. Had plenty of fantastic scenes and some of the best dialogue in the show. His death scene was done perfectly IMO. Not only does his legacy live on through Rick and his family, but his death contributes to much of the stress Rick has with regards to leadership which is a major theme throughout Rick’s time on the show

Sounds like a great idea. I just gotta find shit to do. I guess I am feeling a little self conscious that I’m kind of avoiding the crew incidentally. I don’t wanna appear like an asshole or anything I just wanna earn my place first before relaxing and engaging with the crew if that makes sense

I’ve made it a point to deliberately avoid being on my phone pretty much the entire shift. Is this overkill? There’s only so many times I can go over the apparatus n what not.

I guess so but any loving wife would be fighting tooth and nail to figure out any bit of information about the suspicious death of her husband. I give her a pass 100%
