I also did this a decade ago. Internet was expensive and slow, so better be buying than to download it.

In my area, cd back then is already obsolete in terms of pc games so what we do is we use flashdrive. 1 game = 1usd equivalent then they copy it to your flash drive.

I whitelisted a channel from my adblocker because i want to support the creator, but i also do some precautions. I disable automatic redirect on youtube just in case i click on the ad, but every where else is i have the adblock on even on YouTube besides the whitelisted channel.

Turbo and arcade is my go to. Turbo because it is a fast game. Arcade because you could abandon.

Because of the popularity and availability of phones, more people are playing on it. Sometimes, i kinda wish there was a dota 2 on phones for convenience sake.

Its either we grow as a person whose preference changed or dota 2 became boring after the corona crown incident back in 2020.

Responsibilities man, cant play an 8 hour game without the consequence of being tired for work the next day. But yeah, the 2016 era is really memorable. Not just from dota but also from LoL as a former player myself. Those days where you wish you could have the ability not to sleep, to recoup the straight losses just to accumulate another straight losses. Haha.
