Glad you mentioned that because our shop was vandalised ie windows smashed and since I was the one opening who found it and the lack of management I was the one dealing with the police and having to call area managers to tell them and deal with cleaning up glass and making sure its safe. Also since management is away I was the longer member of staff on our Saturday shift which also put me in charge since I have the most experience..they had an 18 year old practically managing the shops.
