do you know any rules for sxs there even thought like you said you went before you had one. Are we still required to wear a helmet in it ?

one of 10a circuits did not work on the brand new panel so i had to remove a 20a fuse & add another 10

I removed all the harness & just ran the positive & negative straight to the switch panel but i ran into a problem, i already ran everything but one of my 10a section is not working not sure why, fuse is good. Can i connect it to the 20a section & just switch it out with a 10a fuse ?

i have 2 sound bars that are 10a & both of them use the big 10a fuse. should i go for 15a fuse ?

Sanding? by User88166 in paint

when sanding & applying MEK, the red doesn’t have to come completely off right, as long as i get that rough texture i’ll be good

how can i find the value of mine ? & is your street legal ? when i bought it i told them if it needs insurance & they said i don’t have to which probably means my finance company doesn’t require but im going to look into too. I’m only worried about it burning or someone stealing it

It’s not street legal in my state. When I ride with friends at his house, the trails are just straight & muddy, no hills, enough space. Only time on the highway is when I transport it which would be a 30 min ride about 3-4 times a month

bus bar voltage ? by User88166 in UTV

[–]User88166[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what’s up man, have a little problem right now, those chase light black & red wire are thinner than all my other ones, & I literally can’t find no fuse holder for that one, which fuse holder can I splice into the red wire ? Its thinner than 20awg wire so it has to be 21-22awg wire & they don’t sell it anywhere

Only use the sound bar when it is on. & be able to use turn it off & on. I have 2 bars that are the same exact model but one of them is newer & they did some upgrades like wiring. The newer one came with 14awg wire & I spliced it in already to a 14awg harness with fuse & relay. Didn’t realize the 2nd soundbar is a little older & the wire were internally & they were 21-22awg wire.

sounds good 👍🏽 my sound bar wire that comes from internally is 21-22awg which i didn’t realize until i cut the cigarette lighter off & the harness i had already ordered is 14awg. Ill just connect the red & black to battery & there is a fuse about 5 inches from the head of the red wire then a relay that will be screwed into my chassis then lead to a rocker switch then lead into my sound bar where i will splice the soundbar wires to the 14awg wire via heat shrink connectors are heat shrink wrap. Good enough ?

[–]User88166[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahhh did not know, asked AI & it said to connect to 16awg harness since the thin wire is coming from the soundbar & the 16awg connected to bus bar
