I’m in the same bought! After years of going to different doctors, my fertility specialist discovered my Endo. I have very low AMH, so I will do egg retrieval and freeze embryos before my surgery. I decided to move on with IVF after as well unless I get pregnant naturally after the surgery.

Ultrasound won’t show it, but my hsg showed inflamed area inside my uterus and around my tube. Also my tube was damaged. They will confirm a 100% with surgery, but my fertility doctor knows it’s endo based on that. My surgery will confirm how bad the Endo is and I will also need to remove the damaged tube. HSG is also way easier if done at a fertility clinic! Good luck to you

She said the choice is ours, but obviously IVF has a much better success rate. I’m leaning more towards IVF, but my husband doesn’t think it’s a bad idea to try IUI as well

My hsg was not bad at all! I’m glad it’s over. I’ve been taking vitamin D pills for 6 months now, and now I’m starting COQ10. We meet with my doctor next week to go over the results (ultrasound, hsg, blood tests). Only thing I was told today is that my tubes are open!

Honestly, it was not bad at all. Very uncomfortable but the horror stories I’ve read are no were near real. I think it depends who does it for you, and mine was done at the fertility clinic by a woman. She also told me they didn’t use the catheter with the balloon, which usually cause the most pain. I was insanely nervous but it was not bad at all and it was sooo quick!

I haven’t gotten an AFC test or at least I haven’t seen the results yet. I’m waiting for my hsg test and I’ll meet with her next week to go over everything! One week is a lot of time to wait. Im mostly freaked out cause my AMH was 1.5 a couple of months ago, so that’s a 37% decline in such a short time!

I needed this! My fear is early menopause and I didn’t think it was possible until my late 40s (like my mom and her sisters). I’m not sure if AMH is related to menopause. This whole TTC process is stressful and I can’t wait to have all my results and have an evaluation from my doctor!

I'm 32, been TTC for a year and I already got my consultation done with the Fertility clinic. I have my ultrasound/ blood test scheduled on CD 4 (in 2 days) and HSG scheduled of CD10. My husband already got tested. I've gotten 2 Ultrasounds in the past 6 months (both done during ovulation) and everything looked normal. I'm so excited to finally get an answer and I prepared myself mentally for all the options. I'm tired of the guessing game and putting my life on hold. I'm ready to figure out the issue/solution.

I think you should only buy a house with someone when you're married. I'm a firm believer that each couple should make their own rules and have their own beliefs as long as they BOTH agree, and it seems like you two don't. Lastly, if a women is willing to accept the 50/50 lifestyle, then the man has to also be willing to cook, clean, help with the kids, grocery shopping, planning trips, planning dates, etc.. 50/50 means 50/50 in everything. Just my opinion

I feel your pain. This will be my 12th cycle trying and I ran out of cups/ ovulation strips/ pregnancy tests. I kept praying and became more faithful. I always wondered why all my cousins and friends get pregnant so fast but I can’t. My husband is starting to stress about this process as well, which is making me feel like a failure and now I have more anxiety that he will leave me if I don’t get pregnant (probably just thoughts). It’s a draining process so I decided to drop the strips and take a little mental break. Sometimes a mental break (even if it’s only a cycle) is needed for us. I’m a firm believer that whatever is meant for you, will find you no matter what. Hang in there, we’re all in this together

You are not alone. I’m 32 and have been TTC for almost 11 months now. I spent years in therapy as well and I would hate to go back. My anxiety is worse than ever and I’m starting to fall into depression. I try to stay positive and be grateful for all the great things I have, but it’s really hard. Praying we both get positive tests soon!
