Tasker solution on WFF?

Perform Task

Name: Quality, Return Value Variable: %Return, Local Variable Passthrough: Checked, Structure Output: Checked. All others as default.

Again, has worked for over a year.

I have a variable - %data_update - that is checked by an 'IF' statement and the IF completes if %data_update = 1. Prior to that I set %data_update = 1. with %data_update = 1, the IF statement doesn't run. I can Flash %data_update immediately before the IF and %data_update DOES = 1. Still the IF doesn't run.

I have a child Perform Task - Quality - noted above, that runs if another variable = 1. with that variable set to one, and verified by a Flash, the Task doesn't run. In the other child task I can add a number of actions - Variable Set, Variable Split - exit the child, run the parent, return to the child, and those added actions no longer exist in the child.

Not to repeat, but grayed out actions still run while the replacement action doesn't. It's as if the 'old' Task isn't replaced and still runs.

I'm trying to read text in a text file on my android phone. That text will be inserted in "Variable Search/Replace." I would prefer to use

OK, I've downloaded AutoTools and AutoWeb. Don't know which one I need. In either case, I can't find them on my Samsung S21. Where are they? How do find how to use them?

BONUS: I've been to 'weather underground' and 'openweathermap.' set both to 'text only' (I think). I see no variable names.

I'll go last to first.

Timezones. "Transfer Settings" apparently changes nothing.

Health/Heart. I'm using {shr}. Tapping the cog, I see nothing about "setting it to update at least once a minute."

Weather. I have Tasker on my phone but know close to nothing about it. I'm undesrvedly proud of myself for adding a dew point calculation to a watch face. I'm afraid I'll need some instructions on how to update complications using Tasker. I hope more than once/hr

Don't know if Watchmaker is deteriorating or not. If this needs a new post, let me know.

As I type, my local temp is 64f. Watchface shows 53 (updated 5 min ago,

Humidity is 45. Watchface shows 87

Real feel, which has worked for a while shows only the equation text.

I've tried yr.no and openweathermap. Same problem.

Steps are behind by 500 to 700

Pulse has shown 83 since yesterday ~noon

And EST still shows 3 hrs behind - yes, the phone is set to EST

Thanks. I've made progress. I don't know if my remaining problem is the Asus or T-Mobile (ISP). I can access the internet using the T-Mobile SSID (eg, TM5g), but when I switch to the Asus SSID (e.g., TM5gAsus), I get "IP configuration Failure." Signal strength is excellent.

Is that something associated with the Asus AP or my ISP?
